Here are some pictures of a weekend in the
Gower peninsular. Spent the weekend of July the 22nd there, after my exams and
before leaving for elective. The pictures are taken with my Nikon F-601s, but I
didn't realise the lens was fogged up on the inside, so the colours will be a bit odd!

Spectacular beach, but lots of dead jellyfish. |

Emma with lots of pretty rocks (she's a geologist at heart). |

More rocks. |

There were tons of caterpillars, but only eating this plant. Any entomologists out
there? |

The famous three cliffs of three-cliffs bay. |

Yes, we have walked even closer. |

Wild ponies! They didn't charge at me, just stared. This one's for you
Wendy. Thinking of setting up a vet practice in Wales? It's just a bit colder
than Vava'u though! |

Emma nearly fell in the water. |

Nice garden. Not mine. |

Look at those cliffs! I have been reliably informed that they are limestone. I
am taking this from the edge of a another cliff. I survived. |

Look at those tiny people. Personally, I think it was a bit too cold to go
swimming. Then again, I am used to 29 degree Singapore waters. |

Yup, that's me sitting on The Edge. Not yet covered by travel insurance. |

Isn't the water clear? I wonder if there is any coral there? Maybe I should
just settle for seaweed. |

Actually dipped my toes in the sea here. They promptly went numb, but did not fall
off. |
