SYDNEY
It is now the 5th of August and I had spent a week back
in Singapore visiting friends. Now I am staying with some cousins of mine. Had
a good time in the run up to the Olympics. Still don't understand how highways are
still not completed with less than 40 days to the Olympics. Hey, they must be very
efficient there.
Photos taken with a Nikon F-601s SLR camera
(with foggy lens).

Stuart and I at the Blue Mountains in outside Sydney. Went on the day it drizzled
and mist obscured everything. Perfect timing eh? |

Gosh, Prince Charles does get around, doesn't he? |

Taking the Scenic Railway, which looks a bit like a roller-coaster ride to me. |

Yes, it goes down a very steep bit very quickly. You can just see the light at the
end of the (naturally-formed) tunnel. |

Read the sign. That's a train/tram going up the Steepest Incline Railway in the
World. |

What pretty (and massive) ferns. |

Scary thing this. It's in the Queen Victoria Building (that's QVB for
non-tourists). Yes, it is a figure of Queen Vic herself rotating on her
throne inside a display filled with replica crowns and swords. Eerie. |

Mandatory shot of the Sydney opera house. |

Even better mandatory shot of the Sydney opera house. |

The Sydney harbour bridge and a strange-looking galleon sailing by. |

Look, there are people climbing the harbour bridge. |

Look, that's me and my cousin once-removed on top of the harbour bridge wearing
the next "in" thing - grey shell suits. That cost some serious cash.
It took nearly 3 hours for the whole climb.. |

As you can see, the photo is much clearer. That's because it's taken with the climb
leader's digital camera. We were not allowed to bring anything which may fall off
and kill someone below. That means no cameras, watches or big earrings. |

Some rich guy's house with a triple garage. You know who you are. |

What more can I say? |

And you think your dentist is bad |
